Sang spoke at a seminar of 65 educators on the emphasis Korean parents put on their children’s education. She addressed “grey goose” and “proxy” parents, as well as the communication breakdowns between first generation parents and second generation children.

Dove Canyon book club invites Sang for an evening of Korean Kal-Bi (marinated ribs) and Man-du (Korean style pot stickers) on November 3rd, 2011. The club’s chef, Mark even made Kim-Chee fried rice to accompany the Korean epicure. Each member of the book club had specific questions to promote a focused discussion.
